Can Terzi gives fresh updates on Galatasaray's negotiations for Ederson, Osimhen, and Coman as the club looks to boost its squad this summer.
Galatasaray’s summer transfer ambitions have taken center stage once again as Turkish journalist Burhan Can Terzi shared new developments on the club’s potential signings of Ederson from Manchester City, Victor Osimhen from Napoli, and Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich. The updates were revealed during his appearance on the Sportcel YouTube channel, where he discussed the latest moves being made behind the scenes.
Can Terzi confirmed that Galatasaray has made significant progress in its pursuit of Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson. Initially, the demands from the Manchester City shot-stopper were reportedly very high, but Terzi noted that both parties later found a middle ground. Negotiations are advancing, and Ederson could be the first among the trio to complete a move to Istanbul.
“Ederson’s demands were initially high. However, he later reduced his demands and a middle ground was found,” Terzi explained, adding that Galatasaray is now close to finalizing the deal and it could be completed ahead of other targets.
Attention has also turned to Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman. Galatasaray have made notable progress in negotiations and are now focused on resolving team balance and player profile compatibility. If these internal factors are successfully managed, Coman’s arrival at the club could soon become a reality.
Terzi stated, “Galatasaray has come a long way regarding Kingsley Coman. If a solution can be found for Coman regarding the balance and profile within the team, this transfer could happen.”
Victor Osimhen remains another key target for the Turkish champions. While progress on this front appears slower compared to Ederson, the Nigerian striker is still firmly on Galatasaray’s radar. The club’s interest reflects its intent to bring in world-class talent to maintain its competitive edge after winning the Turkish domestic league last season.
Okan Buruk, the club’s head coach, is keen on strengthening all departments of the squad ahead of the new season. With domestic and European competitions in mind, Galatasaray is looking to finalize key deals that align with the team’s long-term strategy.
These transfer updates suggest that Galatasaray is not only ambitious but also methodical in its approach, carefully weighing financial terms and squad dynamics as it targets high-caliber players from top European leagues.
