Juma Jux opens up about his regret over not collaborating with Mohbad and vows to support Mohbad’s son Liam as a heartfelt tribute.
In a heartfelt revelation, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux opened up about his deep-seated regret over a missed musical collaboration with the late Nigerian artist Mohbad. Reflecting on their interaction, Jux shared,
"In 2022, Mohbad contacted me for a collabo. That period, I was still working on the promotion of a song I released back then and I promised him we were going to make it work. I've really got that ma guy a big debt to pay for not giving him that collabo back then."
This sense of indebtedness led Jux to honor Mohbad's memory in a deeply personal way during his wedding preparations with Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo. He recounted,
"When I started organizing my wedding with my wife, I told her 'Liam will be my first groomsman' but my brother Diamond will play the role since he man enough and understands the event. The same stylist who did my outfit for the white wedding was the one who did Liam's own too. I owe his father a lot and I will make sure I pay all to his son."
This gesture underscores Jux's commitment to honoring Mohbad's legacy and supporting his son, Liam. The inclusion of Liam in the wedding plans symbolizes a bridge between past regrets and future promises, highlighting the profound impact of personal connections in the music industry.
Jux's actions serve as a poignant reminder of the importance of cherishing relationships and making amends, even in the face of loss.
