Today, His Excellency Pastor Umo Eno, Governor of Akwa Ibom State, made a special appearance to cheer on George Iniabasi Essien, popularly known as Mighty George, in his attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest marathon hosting a radio talk show. The current record stands at 88 hours, held by Taishi Masuoka of Japan.
Mighty George's ambitious 100-hour radio talk show marathon began on Sunday, April 27, 2025, and is scheduled to conclude on Thursday, May 1, 2025. The event is being broadcast live on Comfort 95.1 FM in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, and features a diverse lineup of discussions, interviews, and community-focused content.
Governor Umo Eno's presence underscores the significance of this endeavor, highlighting the state's support for initiatives that promote innovation and excellence in broadcasting.
