One even said that “Linda Ikeji was suffering from poverty mentality” because of her reaction to some comment made on her post concerning the purchase of the Hermes bags.

Linda Ikeji is a top Nigerian blogger and someone whom other bloggers would refer to as far as blogging business is concern. When she also bought a huge house in the luxury Banana Island; the exclusive abode of the rich and affluent in Nigeria; that also became big news shared effortlessly online. Infact, that singular act to some is what opened so many people’s eyes to how lucrative blogging business could be. In case you want to go into blogging, just know that you need hardwork and dedication to make it a success. But in all, you should have a passion for it and be ready to use the right tools on/offline to achieve your purpose.
Ordinarily why the collection of bags would become a controversy on social media you may ask? It all boils down to what you have passion for, cherished and worked hard to achieve. When you work so hard to achieve a purpose then you wouldn’t want anyone to rubbish your pride or ego by mere words when you know for sure that such a person(s) is not up to your standard. Sometimes you begin to wonder why people would concern themselves in other people business as if they have no work to do. Though Hermes came back and confirmed the bags were fake. Did Linda Ikeji know that the Hermes Birkin bags were fake? This I believe she did not know. But my thoughts to her reaction is something she should have kept her silent and not to react immediately. If people don’t talk about you, then you are nobody. So to gain relevant, let people keep talking about you. But in this, it should be for good and not for controversy. Though controversy increases and spread you popularity but such has its negative consequences which sometimes might not be in your favour.

Sometimes, we shouldn’t allow our emotional feelings control out thoughts for when that occurs, we might say the words that we might come to regret later. Learn to be silent at some point even if others are making a mockery of us. When you are silent it says a lot about our person and it makes us avoid some mistakes that are avoidable.
